Laverda? That's Lamborghini! Aprillias boring but fast because of their Austrian engines, mine still stranded me courtesy of the electrical system..........


Hey Jago, maybe we should compare Lancia and Laverda? They both come up with splendid inventions - and special engines. I love the rough sound of a 180 degree triple Laverda Jota.

Hello Per,

What a great post! Before I acquired my Alfas I was a Moto Guzzi owner, having once owned both a 1981 850 Le Mans Mark II and a California 1100. They were great bikes on the open road - fast, stable, and possessing a wonderful sound - especially the Le Mans once it reached 5000 rpm. Unfortunately a bad accident ended my days of riding, however it ushered in a life with Alfa Romeos.
